After graduating from college in 1994 with a degree in Fine Arts/emphasis in Photography, I moved to Europe. Following my two-year hiatus abroad I returned to the states energized and ready to follow my dream of working professionally in the photo industry.

Choosing to return to the Midwest with a fresh new outlook, I made Minnesota my home in 1996.  After learning the ropes of all things styling, from prop running to prep styling to styling on set, I had the opportunity to learn the production side of the business, primarily managing photo shoots involving models, props, and apparel. Over the next six years I was fortunate to learn the basics of the business from several talented and seasoned professionals. During this time, I also realized my true love of photo styling as it was the most direct way for me to use my creativity-- so throwing all caution to the wind, I dove in to photo styling full time.  After the first few opportunities assisting some veteran photo stylists, I began styling on my own and knew I had found my place and passion in the photo industry.

Since then, I've styled a wide array of products including; on-figure apparel, tabletop softlines, hardlines, room sets and interiors. My clients and employers have included: Target, 3M, Supervalu, Marshall Fields (Macy's), General Mills, G&K and Fingerhut. I have come to thoroughly enjoy the challenge of "making things look pretty" and try to take it one step further by putting products no matter what it is, in their best light.  I also thrive on creating idyllic atmospheres and powerful moods in a process that has become organic and meditative.

After over twenty years in the photo industry I feel equally qualified in both photo styling and production. More importantly, my love and passion for the industry is stronger than ever and I look forward to contributing good work for years to come!
